Would you like to earn more spending money during holidays and beyond taking on a few extra hours of online tutoring via Zoom? TopEliteTeachers, the Canadian subsidiary of TopOnlineTeachers, is looking for high school teachers to teach Chinese students online for 3 to 10 hours per week. We currently are looking particularly for teachers of AP subjects in STEM, English Literature, Writing and Economics. Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience and subject. Most of our students attend international schools in mainland China and speak English well.

Working schedule:

Part-time hours during following: Mon to Fri 16:00 to 21:00 Beijing time + weekend hours

Job description

• Teaching advanced high school subjects in STEM, AP English Literature and Writing, and Economics ($25-$30 / hr)

• Teaching ESL lessons to international students or English learners ($15 / hr)

• Curriculum provided with flexibility to teach in your own way as well

Job Requirements:

- Top-notch English with neutral accent

- Hold a BA degree or above

- Teaching certification is required (teaching credential or TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)

- Stable and strong internet connection

- Good teaching experience in AP/SAT/AMC/IB would be ideal

- At least 2 years teaching experience with some online experience in Zoom

- Passionate about language education and teaching generally

- Able to adhere to fixed class schedule

- Willing to regularly check for and respond to messages in Wechat or Skype

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: R187,00 - R225,00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
